First Responder 911 Foundation, (FR911F) takes a new approach to building a highly effective charity to benefit our First Responders. With statistics of one in three suffering from some form of mental or behavioral disorder, action is needed now to keep our responders healthy.
We have assembled an all-star team of Board Members, Advisors and Volunteers to use their talents and influence to build this new foundation with purpose.
Our goals are to set records in the amount we give back to the cause and to make a measurable difference in the well-being of our emergency personnel. We will partner with socially conscious leadership to raise the critical funds, to stem the tide of issues affecting our nation’s first responders.
We believe in full transparency and work hard to develop donor relationships. Our Board members include Silicon Valley executives, mental health professionals and senior First Responders. They represent decades of experience now focused on the success of FR911F. We are by design a stream-lined foundation, minimizing operational and administrative expenses. By doing so we can ensure most of the funds raised will be directed to the cause.
Our Advisors are all seasoned professionals. They are highly recognized, career first responders who have contributed most of their lives to service. They are the trend and pace setters, the influencers and those who know and understand our responders’ needs. They are helping craft the programs that will raise funds while strategically vetting the organizations who are most effective in putting them to use. Our USE OF FUNDS include Prevention (resiliency education and training) and Treatment (utilizing proven equine, art and music therapies) for First Responders in crisis.
Both boards work closely with all our donors to partner in funding effective programs that treat first responders suffering from stress, PTSD, PTSI, depression, substance abuse, suicide, and suicide ideation.
